New Balance and RED collaborated on a crossover design project on creating a retro-style gift box, aiming to communicate the idea of "I'm certain as I've changed." New Balance retro runners 327 originates from the marathon winner—retro 320 of the ‘70s. Corresponding to the core idea of transformation, the package design applied a PVC color overlaying technique, creating an imagery altering effect when shifting the placement of the exterior package.
New balance和小红书跨界打造复古礼盒，传递“我确定，正如我所变”的主题概念。复古跑鞋New balance 327由70年代的马拉松冠军跑鞋320经典蜕变而来，为了更贴合主题中变化的点，在礼盒的设计上采用PVC叠加变色卡，在抽拉盒套时通过颜色的叠加产生图形的变化。
02 Details | 细节和延展
Before applying the color overlay, the imagery on the inner box is a rough draft sketch of New Balance 320, representing the origin of inspiration and the process of creation. After overlaying the color board, the image appears as the final design of New Balance 327.
The exterior package is designed with inspiration from Kodachrome film, with the addition of New Balance color track elements.
内盒叠加前的图案是New balance 320手稿草图，以这样的形式体现鞋子的灵感来源与创作过程。叠加后的图案是设计完成状态的New balance 327。
外盒封套灵感来自克罗姆胶片，加入了New balance彩色跑道元素。
The package also comes along with a retro film camera, as well as four metal badges.
盒内还配有一个复古胶片相机以及四个金属徽章。
